Craig Chequis
President
Craig started with Chapman Mechanical in 2001. Craig has worked his way from apprentice, to journeyman, to site foreman, to estimator, to Project Manager, to General Manager/Partner and now President. His experience, determination and drive have helped create a structured and positive work environment. His goal is to expand and strengthen the Chapman Mechanical brand and partnerships throughout BC.
Tyler Jolie GSI
General Manager/ Partner
Tyler is a journeyman Sprinkler Fitter who has worked his way up from apprentice with Chapman Mechanical since 2003. In 2018 he transitioned from Site Supervisor on to Chapman’s estimation team where he brought years of field experience and extensive industry knowledge to his role as Estimation Manager. In 2022 he transition his role to General Manager and joined Craig Chequis as Partner in Chapman Mechanical. Tyler’s objective is to expand the company brand and lift it to a superior stature.

Steve Jolie
Fire Protection Manager/ Estimator
Steve has over 30 years of industry experience. He joined Chapman Mechanical as a journeyman sprinkler fitter in 1996. He has acted as Fire Protection Manager & Service Manager of Chapman Mechanical since 2002 and has built this division of Chapman Mechanical to the industry frontrunner that it is today.
Alton Belsher
Project Manager/ Estimator
Alton is a University of Calgary graduate and a SAIT accredited Sheet Metal Journeyman. He has over 40 years of HVAC experience and has been with Chapman Mechanical since 1999. He transitioned from field foreman to Project Manager and Estimator in the early 2000’s. His extensive industry knowledge ensures our projects are unsurpassed in quality and installation.
Ric Mervyn
Project Manager
Ric Mervyn has been in the mechanical industry since 1989. Ric Joined our team as a senior mechanical supervisor in 2004 and continued in this role until 2022 when he joined our office team as project manager. His field supervision experience brings a proactive and positive approach to our projects ensuring we are always looking after the client’s best interest.
Ryan Kenny
Mechanical Coordinator
Ryan graduated as a journeyman plumber in 2006 from BCIT. Since then he has worked for some of the largest mechanical firms in BC completing complex mechanical builds across the province. His extensive experience in BIM coordination has helped drive Chapman Mechanical forward as an industry leader in prefabrication and clash detection.
Troy Wyllie
Estimator
Troy is an accredited welder and journeyman sheet metal worker. He has worked in the industry since 2008 in both industrial and commercial projects. Troy rejoined our team in 2018 and in 2021 he fell into the sheet metal estimator position in our office. His diverse knowledge in industrial and commercial sheet metal brings a competitive approach to our estimating division.
Trevor Feeney
Shop Coordinator
Trevor Started his sheet metal career at Chapman Mechanical in 2014. He worked his way through his apprenticeship and eventually into our sheet metal fabrication shop as our shop coordinator. His experience, positive approach and team player attributes is a large part of our continued success as the top sheet metal fab shop in the valley.
Russ Lopez
Deliveries Manager
Russ Lopez began his career in fire protection in 2008. He continued his career moving into material management in the oilfield sector and eventually returned to Chapman in 2016. In 2021 he took over the deliveries manager position. His experience in coordination, time management and attention to detail is an integral part of ensuring our projects are moving ahead successfully.
Belinda Sharpe
Comptroller/ HR
Belinda joined the Chapman Mechanical team in 2012 as Human Resources & Payroll manager. With previous years accounting and office management experience prior to working at Chapman, she transitioned into her current role as Comptroller in 2016. Her accuracy and precision in her work help keep our teams on track.
Laura Heisterman
OH&S Manager/ Administrator
Laura has been with Chapman Mechanical since 2021. She joined our team with previous experience in administration and industrial construction operations. She took on the role of OH&S manager and has worked hard at greatly improving our safety program. Her drive and positive attitude have successfully walked us through our 3rd COR external audit and has created a positive and safer work environment.

Co-Founder
Founders Mark and Brad Chapman brought a shared vision of quality workmanship and innovation that has driven the company’s growth to become a market leader in the mechanical industry. Mark Chapman started Chapman Mechanical from the basement of his house and Brad, his brother, joined shortly after extending their services to include plumbing. In the mid-90s they introduced fire suppression making Chapman Mechanical the only full-service mechanical contractors in the Okanagan Valley.
